Cecilia Del Toro,  Born in Colombia in 1953, Cecilia del Toro is a very versatile artist who masters oil painting, jewelry and metal smith, pen and ink, glass, ceramic and porcelain painting. She was a general practitioner and  surgeon in her native country for more than 25 years, but her love for all arts in general made her to switch professions and evolve into an excellent artist. She started her art training in Hamburg, Germany, as a porcelain painter. In 2003 Cecilia moved to Rockville, MD, where she attended Montgomery College to obtained a BA in Arts and Sciences.
